About Me

I’m Damon Tinsley, and I’ve been in industrial maintenance for more than 30 years. My wife, Melissa Wagoner, and I blended our names to create TinWagon — a reminder that this project is personal for both of us.

After three decades in the field, I’ve seen just about every CMMS you can imagine. Most of them were clunky, confusing, or flat‑out wrong for the way maintenance actually works. I’ve been frustrated more times than I can count trying to make broken systems fit real‑world workflows.

When I became a maintenance manager, I finally had the chance to do something about it. I started building a CMMS that makes sense — one that follows the flow of real work instead of forcing people into bad software habits. TinWagon CMMS brings together workflows, parts management, PM scheduling, and purchase order validation in a way that feels natural to the people who use it.

This isn’t a corporate product. It’s a solution built by someone who’s lived the job every day.

Mission

TinWagon CMMS was created to fix the problems I lived through for decades in industrial maintenance. My mission is to provide a system that respects the way mechanics and maintenance teams truly work  straightforward, reliable, and built on real shop‑floor experience. TinWagon brings together workflows, parts, PMs, and purchasing into one practical tool that helps teams work smarter, not harder.

Vision

TinWagon CMMS envisions a world where maintenance management is clear, connected, and frustration‑free. We strive to unify workflows, parts, PMs, and purchasing into one practical platform designed by someone who has lived the job. Our goal is to elevate maintenance operations with software that feels natural, reduces complexity, and strengthens reliability across every facility.
